Mitra Pilar: Jurnal Pendidikan, Inovasi, dan Terapan Teknologi is a scientific journal that publishes and disseminates research results, in-depth studies, innovative thoughts, or works in the fields of education, innovation, and technology application. This journal focuses on works that positively contribute to readers and fellow researchers in the field of education. Mitra Pilar: Jurnal Pendidikan, Inovasi, dan Terapan Teknologi is published twice a year. Mitra Pilar: Jurnal Pendidikan, Inovasi, dan Terapan Teknologi is intended as a place for quality research publications in Indonesia and Asia in the future for researchers in the field of Education, Innovation, and Applied Technology.

Mitra Pilar: Jurnal Pendidikan, Inovasi, dan Terapan Teknologi has been accredited by ARJUNA (Indonesia's National Journal Accreditation System) and awarded a Sinta 5 rank.

All articles published by Mitra Pilar: Jurnal Pendidikan, Inovasi, dan Terapan are immediately available worldwide under an open-access license. This means:

  • everyone has free and unlimited access to the full text of all articles published in Mitra Pilar: Jurnal Pendidikan, Inovasi, dan Terapan journals, and
  • everyone is free to re-use the published material if proper accreditation/citation of the original publication is given.

History

  • First Published

    Mitra Pilar: Jurnal Pendidikan, Inovasi, dan Terapan was first published in June 2022 and managed by PT MITRA JURNAL INDONESIA.
  • Evolution of Focus and Scope

    To better align with contemporary developments in educational technology and specialized pedagogical tools, the Editorial Board has updated the journal's focus and scope. The changes are detailed as follows:

    Period: Volume 1, No. 1 (2022) – Volume 4, No. 2 (2025) During this period, the journal published a broad range of educational studies, including:

    • Educational Research: Experimental Research, Class Action Research, Qualitative Research, and Quantitative Research.

    • Learning Model Development: Innovative frameworks for instructional design.

    • Media Learning Development: Design and evaluation of educational media.

    • Additional Learning Materials: Development of supplementary teaching resources.

    • Learning Innovation: New methods and practices in the classroom.

    • Applied Technology: Practical applications of technology in education.

    Period: Volume 5, No. 1 (2026) – Present Starting with Volume 5, Number 1 (2026), the journal has narrowed its scope to focus specifically on the intersection of technology and creative pedagogical tools. The journal now exclusively accepts submissions in the following areas:

    1. Media Learning Development

    2. Learning Innovation

    3. Applied Educational Technology

    Note to Authors: Submissions focusing on general educational research (e.g., general Qualitative/Quantitative research or Class Action Research) that do not specifically integrate Media, Innovation, or Applied Technology will no longer be considered for publication from this issue onward.

Mitra Pilar: Jurnal Pendidikan, Inovasi, dan Terapan Teknologi adopt the concept of LOCKSS and CLOCKSS archives. As well as sending publications to several journal indexing institutions.

LOCKSS

Open Journal Systems supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure a secure and permanent archive for journals. LOCKSS is open-source software developed at the Stanford University Library. It enables libraries to preserve selected web journals by regularly polling registered journal websites for newly published content and archiving. Each archive is continuously validated against other library caches; if the content is corrupt or missing, another cache or journal is used to restore it.

CLOCKS

Open Journal Systems also supports the CLOCKSS (Controlled Lot of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure a secure and permanent journal archive. CLOCKSS is based on the open-source LOCKSS software developed at the Stanford University Library that enables libraries to preserve selected web journals by regularly polling registered journal websites for newly published and archiving content. Each archive is continuously validated against other library caches; if the content is corrupt or missing, another cache or journal is used to recover it.
