Post-Publication Discussion

Mitra Pilar: Jurnal Pendidikan, Inovasi, dan Terapan Teknologi welcomes scholarly discussion of published articles. Post-publication discussion helps correct errors, clarify findings, and advance knowledge in education, innovation, and applied technology.

1. How to Submit a Comment

Readers may send comments, questions, or critiques about a published article to mjipublisher@gmail.com with the subject line "Post-Publication Comment – [Article Title]". A comment should:

• identify the article (title, volume, issue, and DOI);
• focus on the scientific content (methods, data, analysis, interpretation, or conclusions);
• be supported by evidence or references; and
• be written respectfully, without personal attacks.

2. Letters to the Editor

Substantial comments may be submitted as a Letter to the Editor (maximum 1,000 words and 10 references). Letters are reviewed by the editors and, where needed, by an independent reviewer. The authors of the original article are invited to write a response, and the letter and response may be published together.

3. Handling of Comments

1. The editor checks whether the comment is relevant and substantive.
2. Relevant comments are forwarded to the corresponding author, who is asked to respond, normally within 30 days.
3. The editor evaluates the comment and the response and decides on further action.

4. Possible Outcomes

• No action needed (the concern has been adequately explained);
• Publication of the letter and the authors' response;
• Correction, expression of concern, or retraction in accordance with the Correction and Retraction Policy;
• Investigation under the Research Misconduct policy if misconduct is suspected.

Comments that are offensive, defamatory, or unrelated to the scientific content will not be considered.
