Abstract
Learning physics is often considered difficult and boring for students, especially on mechanics material. Various media have been used to help learning, one of which is educational games. This research aims to produce educational games based on problem solving on circular motion material. The research begins with a preliminary analysis then continues with designing the educational game that will be used. At the development stage, games that have been designed are developed according to needs and novelty. The resulting educational game will be tested for feasibility by material experts, media experts, and software experts, and limited trials to physics teachers and high school students. This educational game is expected to be used as an innovative learning medium to support student learning and increase student motivation in learning physics.
Abstrak
Pembelajaran fisika sering dianggap sulit dan membosankan bagi siswa, terutama pada materi mekanika. Berbagai media telah digunakan untuk membantu pembelajaran, salah satunya game edukasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan game edukasi berbasis problem solving pada materi gerak melingkar. Penelitian diawali dengan analisis pendahuluan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan mendesain game edukasi yang akan digunakan. Pada tahap pengembangan, game yang telah didesain dikembangkan sesuai kebutuhan dan kebaruan. Game edukasi yang dihasilkan akan diuji kelayakannya oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli perangkat lunak, serta diujicobakan terbatas kepada guru fisika dan siswa SMA. Game edukasi ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif untuk mendukung pembelajaran siswa dan menambah motivasi siswa dalam belajar fisika.
