Abstract

Komik digital sangat disukai oleh kalangan milenial karena kemudahan akses serta tampilan yang menarik. Hal ini terbukti dengan jumlah pembaca salah satu platform komik digital yaitu LineWebtoon yang mencapai 6 juta pembaca setiap harinya. Selain itu, ditemukan juga komik yang dipublikasikan melalui media sosial ataupun blog pribadi, dan mendapatkan perhatian lebih dikalangan remaja. Hal inilah yang menjadi potensi penggunaan komik digital sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk menghasilkan desain komik digital untuk pembelajaran fisika pada materi impuls. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Pada tahap awal, dilakukan analisis kebutuhan guna mengetahui permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa, lalu analisis lapangan terhadap 5 perpustakaan sekolah di Jakarta guna mengetahui ketersediaan komik digital di sekolah. Selanjutnya perencanaan pembuatan komik digital. Setelah itu dikembangkan sehingga menjadi produk komik digital dan diuji kelayakan oleh ahli media. Setelah itu diuji cobakan kepada siswa. Seluruh tahapan dievaluasi guna menghasilkan produk berupa komik digital yang layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran fisika pada materi impuls.
